Job summary

San Angelo ISD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead district facilities maintenance, ensuring safety compliance and efficient operation across buildings. The role reports to the Director of Facilities & Maintenance and requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

You will supervise maintenance staff, assist in manuals, manage inspections, and respond to after-hours emergencies. A high school diploma (or GED) and a valid Texas driver’s license are required; an Associate degree is

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; clear driving record.
Knowledge of compliance rules, laws, and regulations applicable to facilities management.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director in performing duties and supervising areas of maintenance as assigned.
Assist in developing and maintaining department operation manuals.
Ensure district radios are operational and repaired as needed.
Compile, maintain, and file physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents.
Assist workers in performing duties, as needed.
Ensure assigned employees follow timekeeping procedures and maintain accurate staff information for payroll reporting.
Work irregular hours and respond to emergencies after hours.
