Job summary

Qualifications

• Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Capable of operating hand and power tools.
• Capable of independent work.
• Must possess a valid TX driver's license and meet minimum insurance eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help with general facility maintenance and repair, including repairing woodwork, electrical switches/fixtures, motors, plumbing fixtures, and glazing.
• Inspect facility interior/exterior, playgrounds, and grounds; perform maintenance and minor repairs.
• Advise supervisor on major facility repairs detected.
• Perform repairs as assigned by work orders or supervisor.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and moving furnishings.
