Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, reading drawings, coordinating with the Director of Facilities, and ensuring energy-efficient operations within district standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six years combined education, training and experience in maintenance trades.
• Knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and climate control systems.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to respond to emergencies quickly, including after hours.
• Ability to supervise maintenance and grounds staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, grounds, and custodial staff, including evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Direct major repairs, renovations, and alterations.
• Schedule preventive and breakdown maintenance and keep records.
• Ensure buildings and equipment are secure and maintained.
• Order supplies within budget and follow district purchasing procedures.
• Respond to alarm calls and after-hours emergencies.
