Job summary

Littleton Public Schools is hiring a Building Facilitator at Powell Middle School. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the building interior and exterior, supervising the custodial team, and coordinating with staff on repairs and events.

It includes basic electrical and plumbing tasks, as well as carpentry and systems operation duties. The schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, full time year round, with starting pay of $22.98 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal background check required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean building interior by vacuuming, mopping, waxing, buffing and cleaning walls, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain exterior grounds including snow shoveling, pruning trees, trimming hedges, and litter removal.
• Supervise custodial team; coordinate with teachers and administrators regarding repairs and events; schedule staff and overtime.
• Replace ballasts, light tubes, outlets, switches; test fuses and breakers; perform minor electrical work.
• Unclog toilets, urinals, sinks, and drains; replace valves and faucets; perform minor plumbing tasks.
• Repair shelving, desks, cabinet doors, tables, and chairs; patch walls and replace ceiling tiles; perform carpentry.
• Assist district maintenance staff with event setup and operational duties.
• Operate and test fire and security systems and control shutoffs as required by policy.
