Job summary

Weld County School District Re-8 in Fort Lupton, CO is seeking a Custodian for the Administration Building (2:00 - 10:30pm). The role performs general cleaning, maintenance, and supports students, staff and visitors by keeping rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas clean and safe.

Starting pay is $16.43 per hour with district benefits. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and custodial experience is preferred; lifting and moving equipment is required, occasional weekend work

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Education or GED preferred.
• Successful custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to move large pieces of furniture and lift heavy containers.
• Maintain good attendance and work as a positive team member.

Responsibilities

• Checks and secures building at shift start/end for safety and cleanliness.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, and offices to district standards.
• Washes walls, windows, and floors; empties trash; assists in recycling.
• Delivers supplies and assists in setup for meetings and events.
• Performs grounds-keeping duties and assists in snow removal as needed.
