Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools seeks a facilities supervisor/custodian lead to keep district buildings in top operating condition. You will supervise custodial staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, and serve as the main contact for administration and staff. On-call duty may be required to ensure facilities are ready for school operations.

The role includes inventory control, safety inspections, and supporting after-hours needs to keep campuses safe and functional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years experience as a Custodian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs custodians on building and grounds, scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Assists Facilities Director in assigning time for custodians.
• Point of contact for administration & staff.
• May be on call 24/7.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Cleans and maintains designated spaces.
• Monitors and records maintenance activities.
