Indian Creek School seeks a Facilities Maintenance Associate to operate and care for its campus facilities, grounds, and event spaces. The role includes routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the Director of Facilities to ensure safety and readiness for students and staff. The 12-month, full-time position reports to the Director of Facilities with a typical 6:00 a.m.

– 2:00 p.m. shift, though later eight-hour shifts may be discussed.

Qualifikationen

• At least one year of experience in building or facilities maintenance or a related trade.
• Experience in a school or other occupied campus is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize competing needs.
• Comfortable using digital systems including Outlook and FMX.

Aufgaben

• Check spaces, doors, and entry points at start of day and throughout shift; fix routine issues and report safety concerns.
• Perform minor carpentry, patching and painting, furniture adjustments, and basic repairs.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and use FMX to manage work orders and documentation.
• Assist with contractor access and site preparation for outside repairs.
• Set up and break down spaces for assemblies, events, and facility rentals.
• Respond to snow, ice, weather, and emergencies; support drills and campus operations.
