Job summary

DeKalb County Regional Office of Education is seeking a reliable, self-starter second-shift custodian for Indian Creek High School. The role is full-time with starting wages at $19.00/hr plus a $0.50/hr PM shift premium (PM: 10:30am - 7pm). Summer hours vary, 6:00am - 2:30pm.

Responsibilities include cleaning, maintenance tasks, and security after hours. Applicants must pass an Illinois State Police Background Check and provide three references. Questions may be directed to Matt Orstead.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including heavy lifting and frequent movement.
• Background check required by law (Illinois State Police).
• Provide 3 references who can speak to work performance and employability.

Responsibilities

• Emptying heavy garbage containers and cleaning common areas.
• Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing kitchens/restrooms.
• Loading/unloading supplies and securing rooms after hours.
