Job summary

Charles County Public Schools is seeking a maintenance role at the Indian Head location. Duties include cleaning floors, collecting refuse, dusting walls and windows, caring for exterior areas, and assisting with supplies and equipment relocation. Reliability and timely attendance are required.

The position may require overtime based on emergencies; evening hours are to be determined per assignment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Good verbal communications and human relation skills.
• A willingness to work overtime as required in cases of emergency.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and cares for floors.
• Collects refuse both inside and outside the building.
• Dusts and cleans walls, windows, ceilings, and equipment.
• Cares for exterior of building and grounds.
• Assists in receipt and relocation of supplies and equipment.
• Regular on time attendance.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Operations or the School/Building Principal.
