Cherokee County School District - GA is seeking a reliable Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across district facilities.

You will perform routine cleaning, operate equipment, follow schedules, and assist with light maintenance. Must lift up to 35 pounds, climb ladders, and work well with others. This 218-day, salaried position offers stability within a public school environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; basic cleaning knowledge and equipment maintenance preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and climb ladders/scaffolding; able to work in undesirable locations/conditions.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and complete assignments on time.
• Must be able to work well with others and learn through training.

Responsabilités

• Accept direction from Head Custodian, Supervisor, or Administrator.
• Perform custodial and preventative maintenance duties in all areas/locations of the District.
• Clean woodwork, walls, furniture, and windows with approved products.
• Mop, scrub, strip, wax, shampoo, vacuum, and spot-clean carpeting and floors.
