Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District seeks a Lead Custodian to oversee cleaning and maintenance at an assigned campus. You will open/close the building, supervise custodians, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), 3–5 years of custodial experience, and ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Reports to Facilities Services and foreman.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial experience required.
• 3–5 years of custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute assignment changes to cover for absent staff.
• Communicate with foreman about supplies, repairs, and concerns.
• Perform cleaning: stripping, buffing, sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing.
• Move and rearrange furniture; set up cafeteria tables; supervise custodians.
• Ensure buildings are secured and adhere to safety procedures.
