Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District seeks a Custodial Foreman to supervise the district's custodial staff, open and close facilities, and maintain interior and exterior cleanliness and safety. You will manage cleaning schedules, inspect work, and coordinate with administrators to support students and staff.

Responsibilities include training staff, ensuring proper operation of HVAC and lighting systems, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience required.
• Ability to read and speak basic English; read and understand cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Effective supervisory skills; ability to work with school administrators, students, staff, contractors, vendors, and community.
• Neat appearance; able to work on an eight-foot ladder; operate custodial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Custodial management and cleaning—supervise staff and ensure building cleanliness.
• Inspect evening work and conduct foreman inspections to ensure duties are completed.
• Maintain and inspect heating, HVAC, and safety systems; report concerns promptly.
• Assist in training, directing, and evaluating custodial staff.
• Set up/break down furniture for meetings; unlock doors as instructed by principal.
