Job summary

Auxilio Services is seeking a Custodian to maintain day-to-day cleaning and minor maintenance of assigned school facilities. The role covers cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, with daily trash removal and building security at shift end.

Qualifications

• Ability to read basic operating instructions and cooperate with staff.
• Moderate physical strength and dependability are essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas daily, including furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, and floors.
• Keeps building and grounds neat; removes trash daily and maintains cleanliness.
• Shovels snow and salts outside walkways when needed; closes and secures the building.
• Repairs minor issues, reports major repairs to management.
• Operates vacuums and cleaners; moves furnishings as directed.
• Follows MSDS guidelines and safety procedures; adheres to FERPA confidentiality.
