Job summary

Redwater Independent School District is seeking a Payroll/Human Resources professional to manage payroll and HR tasks from the Redwater Central Office. The role reports to the Director of Finance and requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least two years in payroll and HR.

The position emphasizes adherence to deadlines, accurate recordkeeping, and strong interpersonal skills to support district staff and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years payroll experience and 2 years HR experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll requirements.
• Proficiency in keyboarding, file maintenance; ability to develop spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
• Strong organization, customer service, detailed documentation, communication, accountability and initiative.
