Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate district payroll for distribution to employees.
• Receive and audit timesheets; calculate wages, hours, withholdings, deductions, net pay.
• Balance payroll earnings and deductions; initiate related transfers.
• Maintain payroll registers and employee payroll information in orderly, accurate manner.
• Prepare and post all payroll changes including deductions and salary changes.
• Compile, maintain, and file payroll reports and forms with IRS and state agencies.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Track absence data and provide trend reports to principals and department heads.
• Prepare correspondence, forms and reports per district standards.
