Job summary

Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School seeks a Food Service Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, menu checks, and supply orders. You will supervise Food Services staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain sanitary standards in the serving lines.

The role reports to the Food Service Director and supports district goals of safe, nutritious meals and community engagement. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard school-year hours and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Supervision experience preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
• Ability to apply technology to the performance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports the District's mission and goals.
• Checks daily menu and assembles recipes.
• Sets up serving line, utensils, trays, etc.
• Prepares and sends supply orders and other required reports.
• Adheres to all regulatory and sanitary guidelines when serving meals.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen work areas and serving line.
• Washes serving utensils, pans and trays.
• Takes required inventories of food and supplies.
• Assigns and supervises Food Services Assistants.
• Oversees the use of the kitchen by all school staff and community members.
• Promotes excellent customer relations.
• Performs any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Food Service Director.
