Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton, MA is seeking a Financial Assistant to support the Business Office. Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, or financial administration required.
• Experience in a Massachusetts public school district or governmental environment preferred.
• Experience with Infinite Visions/School ERP Pro accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Business Manager with budget preparation and monitoring for the District.
• Oversee bi-weekly accounts payable warrants and provide backup to AP Clerk.
• Oversee bi-weekly payroll warrants and provide backup to Payroll Clerk.
• Record receipts and maintain financial records for student activity funds and shop revenues.
• Assist Human Resources with stipend letters and onboarding activities; coordinate with payroll.
• Prepare census and personnel reports as needed and monitor grant expenditures.
• Assist with procurement activities including bids, quotes, and contracts.
• Administer and coordinate the District's student insurance program.
