Elior Independent School Dining is seeking an experienced cook to join the fast-paced, high-volume kitchen at St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont. You will prepare and present high-quality meals, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a supportive, student-focused dining program.

The role emphasizes quality, portion control, timely service, and teamwork with a motivated kitchen staff. Prior culinary experience and customer service are required; additional food handler certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-focused kitchen.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment and tools and identify food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
