Job summary

Academies of Math and Science seeks a dependable Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and basic repairs across campus, including classrooms, gym, and common areas. You will stock supplies, manage safety in line with SDS rules, and support event setup while ensuring secure facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience cleaning school environments.
• Familiar with SDS and basic cleaning equipment operation.
• Ability to work in teams and respond to emergencies.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Assess all areas of the school and clean as necessary.
• Prepare and stage cleaning supplies; maintain inventory.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and clean rooms and bathrooms.
• Set up rooms for meetings and events; assist with daily cafeteria setup.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks and notify management of major repairs.
