Job summary

Codman Academy Charter Public School seeks a dependable, proactive Day Porter to support the daily cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and overall appearance of the Lower/Middle School (LMS) and Upper School (US) campuses.

The role provides continuous attention to the buildings and grounds during instructional hours, responding quickly to cleaning, maintenance, safety, and facility needs as they arise, while also caring for outdoor spaces including the microforest and nine rain gardens.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial, porter, facilities, maintenance, landscaping, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, organization, and detail.

Responsibilities

• Day Porter will support daily cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and overall appearance of LMS and US campuses.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and exterior grounds.
• Monitor and report maintenance needs and safety concerns during school hours.
• Assist with setup, deliveries, and event support.
• Maintain logs and coordinate with administration.
