Job summary

Wright City R-2 School District in Wright City, Missouri seeks a Custodian-Weekend & Evenings to perform cleaning and basic upkeep of district facilities and support after-school activities and facility rentals. Hours vary with district event schedules; this is a 12-month, full-time position requiring flexibility for after-hours and weekend work.

Candidate must have a HS diploma or GED and AHERA Awareness Training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• AHERA Awareness Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and basic upkeep of buildings and facilities.
• Support after school activities and rental events for school facilities.
• Flexible scheduling due to after-hours activities.
• General cleaning of gyms, halls, classrooms, offices, restrooms, and all facilities.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment.
• Shovel snow and spread sand, salt, or cinders as needed.
• Lock/secure facilities at end of shift.
• Comply with state law, district policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
