Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AHERA Awareness Training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of halls, classrooms, offices, restrooms, and facilities.
• Assist with floor maintenance (stripping and waxing).
• Operate and maintain mechanized equipment (vacuum, scrubber, buffers, forklift, etc.).
• Assist with deliveries of packages.
• Shovel snow and spread sand or salt to prevent slipping.
• Perform minor landscaping duties and maintain grounds.
• Adjust and repair equipment as needed (vacuums, scrubbers).
• Wash, clean and maintain department tools and equipment.
• Comply with state laws and district procedures.
