Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with other people.
• Possess physical strength sufficient to perform assigned duties.
• General knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Must obtain and maintain a CDL Bus license and drive a bus when called upon to do so.

Responsibilities

• Performs recurring tasks under direct supervision in accordance with established practices and cleaning schedules.
• Changes in work methods or procedures are specified by a supervisor and reviewed for quality.
• Performs lighter manual tasks in stripping, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, spray buffing in school buildings.
• Washes windows, sills, woodwork; vacuums carpets; spot cleans carpets and walls; cleans light fixtures.
• Cleans restrooms, fixtures; replenishes tissue, towel and soap containers; replaces light bulbs and fluorescent tubes.
