Cumberland County Schools is hiring a Custodian I (10 months) at 372 Lewis Chapel Middle in Fayetteville, NC. The position is non-exempt, requires CDL bus license, and involves cleaning buildings, buses, and related facilities.

Starting immediately, the role requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently, with CDL when driving a school bus. Salary ranges from $2,275 to $3,318 per month. Background check and NC driver's license are required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs recurring tasks under direct supervision in accordance with established practices and cleaning schedules.
• Changes in work methods or procedures are specified by a supervisor and work is reviewed to ensure cleanliness standards.
• Performs lighter manual tasks in stripping, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, spray buffing in school buildings; dusts and rearranges furniture.
• Washes windows, window sills, woodwork; vacuums carpets; spot cleans carpets and walls; cleans light fixtures, etc.
• Cleans restrooms, fixtures; replenishes tissue, towel and soap containers; replaces light bulbs and fluorescent tubes; empties waste receptacles.
• Reports to supervisor any damages or need for repairs.
• Performs other related work such as cleaning sidewalks and grounds.
• Possesses responsibility for grass cutting and edging; cares for shrubbery on campus.
• Attends seminars and completes training activities to improve performance.
• Maintains CDL bus license and completes pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
