Job summary

Woodland Park School District RE-2 is seeking a full-time Custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance across school buildings and grounds. Under supervision, you will ensure safety, clean rooms, floors, restrooms, and assist with setup for events.

You will handle deliveries, snow removal, and basic repairs, contributing to a clean, safe learning environment. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant maintenance experience.

Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
High School Diploma or completion of sufficient education to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.

Responsibilities

Checks and secures building at beginning and end of shift for safety and cleanliness.
Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas to district standards.
Sweeps, mops, buffs, strips and waxes floors.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstery, blinds; washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
Replaces light bulbs; setups and breaks down furniture for meetings.
Performs grounds-keeping, snow removal and debris clearance; handles deliveries and storages.
