Job summary

Crestwood Local School District is seeking a full-time custodian to provide a clean and safe environment for students and staff. Duties include cleaning, waste removal, floor care, equipment maintenance, and assisting with building operations as directed by the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor.

Strong emphasis on safety, ability to work with others, and willingness to perform seasonal tasks and minor repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, painting.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: clean, sweep, mop, wax floors, and maintain restrooms.
• Assist with heating and building maintenance operations.
• Report damages to Buildings and Grounds Supervisor.
• Setup for events and maintain safe building environment.
• Operate basic custodial equipment and tools.
• Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and equipment.
