Job summary

Crestwood Local School District is seeking a full-time Custodian to ensure a clean, safe school environment. Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waste removal, and maintenance assistance as directed by the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related custodial experience, with the ability to use common hand tools and comply with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related custodial experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting.

• Superintendent may determine additional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the school environment.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors and sanitize restrooms.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment.
• Assist with setup/cleanup for school events.
• Report safety hazards and equipment needs to supervisor.
