Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of individual/group counseling principles and theories.
• Ability to conduct crisis intervention and guidance sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse urban families and collaborate with school/community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Develop and implement school counseling programs and guidance activities.
• Assist in dropout prevention, substance abuse and crisis prevention/intervention initiatives.
• Maintain student counseling records and prepare reports.
