Qualifications

• Master's degree in school counseling is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general school counseling and guidance programs including individual and group counseling.
• Implement programs addressing decision-making, coping strategies, self-esteem and related issues.
• Plan classroom guidance on social and emotional development and relationships.
• Counsel students and parents regarding school adjustment and referrals to outside agencies.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers and staff to implement comprehensive educational programs.
• Maintain counseling records and prepare reports and statistics.
• For bilingual positions, communicate with families in English and the specified world language.
