Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in school counseling from an accredited program.
• PA instructional specialist certificate for Secondary Counselor or guidance counselor eligibility.
• PA Elementary and Secondary School Counselor (PreK-12) certificate.
• Certification letter from Certification Officer confirming current enrollment with graduation date.

Responsibilities

• Provide general school counseling and guidance services including individual and group counseling.
• Lead classroom guidance focusing on social and emotional issues and decision-making.
• Refer to outside agencies and provide follow-up services to students and families.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers and staff to implement comprehensive educational programs.
