Job summary

Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking a School Counselor to provide leadership through a comprehensive, data-driven counseling program aligned with the district's mission to promote academic, social-emotional, and college/career development for students in the K-5 building. Work is performed under the supervision of the principal or assistant principal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or Counseling required or equivalent.
• Master's Degree preferred for advancement or specialization.
• Valid PA Certification in School Counseling K-12 required.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging, safe learning environment that supports student success.
• Deliver classroom guidance lessons and small-group counseling using district-approved materials.
• Interpret standardized test scores and other data to develop education and occupation plans.
• Coordinate with administrators and teachers to support students with special needs.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents about student progress and district programs.
• Collaborate with CSAP teams and attend relevant meetings to support district initiatives.
