Job summary

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus five years in public relations or related fields, or an associate degree with three years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years experience in public relations, social services, volunteer programs, or community services programs OR Associates degree plus three (3) years experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flex hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between school and families to promote parental and community involvement.
• Directs referrals to TUSD services and external social service agencies as needed.
• Provides information and resources to staff, students and families.
• Complies with district policies and background check requirements.
