Job summary

Chartwells K12 is hiring a Food Unit Lead for the East Pennsboro Area School District in Camp Hill, PA. The full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays and summers off. Prior food-service supervisory experience is required, with opportunities for growth and internal referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous professional food service supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees to create an enjoyable dining experience.
• Oversees preparation and service of food and beverages per company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Assists in menu planning and ensures timely, efficient meal service; supervises serving of meals.
• Responds to customer complaints in person and via email; trains employees and coordinates work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Develops sanitation schedule and ensures staff adheres to cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
• Manages reports such as inventory, payroll, and time-keeping; handles cash as per policy.
• Directs staff training, assigns tasks, and oversees workflow.
