Chartwells K12 is hiring a full-time Food Service Worker in Enola, PA (East Pennsboro Area School District). The role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays and potential summer time off.

Prior cooking experience is required and the team offers a comprehensive benefits package and referral bonuses. Primary duties include prepping, cooking, serving, and maintaining high sanitation standards while ensuring food quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior professional cooking experience is required.
• Full-time schedule Mon-Fri 6:00 am–2:30 pm.
• Location is Enola, PA within East Pennsboro Area School District.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, inventory and cash-control procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
