Job summary

Washington County Public Schools is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant at Springfield Middle School (Williamsport Base Kitchen) for 5.75 hours per day during a 10-month work year. • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, lifting, bending, and tolerating noise and odors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or assist in preparing food.
• Complete clean-up and dishwashing duties.
• Report food supply needs and problems to the Site Supervisor.
• Serve food to students and adults using portion control standards.
• Maintain a clean work area and operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Attend mandatory training and adhere to health and safety policies.
