Job summary

Fruitport Community Schools is seeking a Food Service Server/Pizza Station at Fruitport High School. The role involves serving and helping prepare food, operating the POS system, and maintaining clean, safe kitchen areas.

Requirements include a High School Diploma; previous food service experience and computer experience are preferred. The position reports to the Head Cook and follows the Master Agreement Salary Schedule with hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation and serving of food.
• Participates in cleaning the kitchen and related areas.
• Performs sanitation procedures.
• Operates a point of sale computer register and makes change.
• Counts money and completes daily sales reports.
• Inspects all equipment in the cafeteria area to ensure it is in safe, working condition, and notifies the head cook when repairs are needed.
• Maintains records on food and supplies received and used.
• Maintains accurate production records conforming to federal/department guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Head Cook.
