Job summary

Fruitport Community Schools in Michigan seeks a Food Service Secretary at the High School campus. This part-time role runs 9:00am–1:00pm, Monday through Friday, reporting to the Food Service Director.

Primary duties are clerical support, recordkeeping, and data coordination for meals. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong communication and customer service skills, and basic computer skills (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial and administrative support.
• Maintain filing system and confidential records.
• Handle accounting/recordkeeping tasks as assigned (Meal Magic, MyFinance, MyOrders).
• Coordinate and support special projects.
• Generate purchase orders, invoices, and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with state data systems.
• Produce student and district reports as needed.
• Participate in training sessions and other duties as assigned.
