Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Serve Safe certification within 45 days of employment.
• Must meet USDA training standards.
• Ability to cope in a fast-paced environment and relate well to students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time in full uniform and begin work.
• Deliver all bagged breakfasts to classrooms.
• Deliver Field Trip bagged lunches in coolers to classrooms.
• Pan up salad bar items, wash fruit, and record production.
• Receive deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; include paper goods.
• Ensure correct quantities on orders and resolve discrepancies with the High School kitchen.
• Store hot food promptly, heat to required temps, and log temperatures.
• Prepare breakfast bags for the next day and assemble lunch trays for students.
• Count leftovers, record meal counts, and reconcile differences with the Meal Coordinator.
• Maintain stock of food and paper products and handle cash as needed.
• Clean up equipment, wrap and store ingredients per safety guidelines.
