Washoe County School District seeks a cafeteria operations assistant to support daily food service at Spanish Springs High School. You will help manage meals, supervise staff, operate POS systems, and ensure food safety and sanitation according to district standards.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and the ability to work flexible locations within the district. Training and certifications in ServSafe are required within a year.

Formación

• One year of preparing and serving food; institutional/commercial experience preferred.
• Ten hours of safety/sanitation training required within first year.
• Completion of Safeschools course within first year of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing and operation of the school cafeteria.
• Supervise and schedule staff and student workers as assigned.
• Run point of sale modules and cash registers; assist in daily revenue reconciliation.
• Maintain sanitary, safe work environment per district guidelines.
• Prepare, serve and set up breakfast and lunch per menu; assist with special functions.
