Responsibilities

• Assists in supervision of preparation and serving of food.
• Assists in supervision of storage and care of food supplies.
• Ensures that menus are planned and followed.
• Assists in supervising cleaning of kitchen, serving, storage, and dining areas.
• Ensures that cafeteria equipment is maintained in a safe and working condition.
• Maintains records of food and supplies received and used, and responsible for banking monies received or seeing that it is done.
• Plans work schedules and maintains payroll and absentee records.
• Maintains appropriate records of meals served.
• Requisitions food and supplies.
• Coordinates Child Nutrition Program with personnel in assigned school.
• Submits records to central office timely and with accuracy.
• Performs other duties as required.
