Job summary

Egg Harbor Township Schools is seeking a Head Cook for Davenport Complex (24.5 hours per week). The role reports to the Director of Dining Services and focuses on preparing meals, maintaining cleanliness, and supervising cafeteria staff during service times.

The position requires a High School Diploma, two years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and the ability to follow both verbal and written directions. Crt/health checks and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma and two years' relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Must perform basic arithmetic and operate kitchen equipment.
• Must pass health and safety requirements and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Directs associates in the cafeteria operation.
• Cook on-site following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate quantities and production records for meals.
• Order food and supplies and receive deliveries.
• Maintain refrigeration and temperature logs according to health dept.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met in the kitchen.
