Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the school cafeteria operations at Barnum Elementary School. You will oversee ordering, prep, and execution of meals, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards throughout the kitchen and storage areas.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating training and meetings, and handling clerical duties to ensure a smooth breakfast and lunch program. Immediate start preferred with a 7-hour workday.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Qualified Food Operator Sanitation Certification preferred.
• Food Service Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ordering, preparation and execution of food and supplies; ensure safety and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
• Supervise all staff to maintain an orderly and organized kitchen.
• Provide training, attend meetings, and perform clerical/administrative duties as required to operate the school cafeteria and breakfast/lunch program.
