Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate the school cafeteria/kitchen and lead staff to maintain an orderly and organized kitchen.
• Order, prepare and execute food and supplies for meals.
• Ensure safety and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
• Supervise all staff and coordinate training, meetings, and clerical/administrative duties.
• Operate a successful school breakfast and lunch program under the guidance of the Director of Food & Nutrition.

Description: The kitchen manager is the staff employee who operates/leads the individual school cafeteria/kitchen and is directly accountable to the Director of Food & Nutrition; Operations Manager. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, ordering, preparation and execution of food and supplies, safety and sanitation of the entire kitchen and storage areas, supervision of all staff employees to maintain an orderly and organized kitchen. Training, meetings, clerical and administrative duties are also required. You are performing all the duties directed by the department in order to operate a successful school cafeteria/school breakfast and lunch program.

Qualifications:

Salary:

$24.00+ (based on experience)
