Job summary

The Diocese of Orlando Catholic Schools is seeking a Cafeteria Worker to support daily meal service in a school setting. You will assist with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and helping with basic inventory and portion control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in school food service preferred.
• Requires appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings.
• Strong reading and comprehension skills with clear verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility cleanliness by sweeping floors and wiping surfaces.
• Set up tables and clean them after each meal.
• Maintain food stocks, prepare items for storage and order supplies as needed.
• Weigh and measure lunch portions to meet federal nutrition guidelines.
• Collect payments from students for meals or snacks.
• Prepare and serve food items using available ingredients.
• Serve hot meals to students, faculty, and staff.
• Perform other related duties.
