Job summary

Central Catholic High School seeks a courteous Cafeteria Assistant to support daily meal service for 400 students, faculty and staff in a fast-paced school kitchen.

Qualifications

• Required: high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: food safety license; if not possessed, recommended to complete food safety course within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the condition of the facility and maintain cleanliness of facility and surfaces.
• Serve meals to students, faculty and staff members as directed by the cafeteria manager and school administration.
• Prepare food items using available ingredients.
• Maintain food stocks, prepare food items for storage, and help to order new supplies and stock as needed.
