West Boylston Public Schools is seeking a Food Service Associate to assist with cafeteria operations, including food prep, serving meals, cleanliness, inventory, and following food safety guidelines under the Director of Food Services. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and customer service in a fast-paced school environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of relevant experience, CORI/SAFIS clearance, and a preferred SERV Safe certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• CORI and SAFIS clearance required.
• SERV Safe Certification preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality as required.
• Work as a member of a cafeteria staff team.
• Assist the cook with food preparation tasks per daily menu.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (mixers, peelers, slicers, dishwashers, toasters).
• Serve breakfast and lunch to students at designated times.
• Operate the POS system and record meals purchased.
