Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and math required.
• Previous food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals that meet USDA meal pattern compliance.
• Complete meal and serving line setup and replenish items during service.
• Brew coffee and deliver food to staff, students, and events as needed.
• Assist manager with production records reporting amounts of food prepared/used/leftover.
• Assist with meal cleanup and ware washing; strip trays for dishwashing as needed.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary cafeteria environment per health requirements.
• Use portion control tools to serve items.
• Operate a POS cash register system and handle money accurately.
• Support ARPS Food Services' goals and sustainability initiatives.
• Perform other duties assigned by Kitchen Manager, Cook, or Director of Food Service.
