Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; Kentucky requirements apply.
• At least 1 year cooking and baking in large quantities.
• Must complete training for beginning school food personnel as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake and serve foods in quantity at school site.
• Train and provide work direction to others.
• Monitor food safety, temperatures and sanitation standards.
• Prepare rolls, breads, cakes and other baked goods.
• Assist with inventory, records and cash handling for meals.
• Operate kitchen equipment as required and maintain cleanliness.
