Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Six months of substitute school bus driving experience preferred.
• Valid California driver's license with passenger transportation endorsement and required certificates.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus along a designated route and pick up/discharge students on schedule.
• Observe traffic laws and district transportation regulations.
• Perform daily safety inspections and maintain related records.
• Keep buses clean and refuel as needed.
• Assist handicapped students and operate wheelchair lifts as required.
• Maintain routine logs and attend safety meetings.
