Job summary

Van Pool Transportation LLC is seeking a Bus Aide to assist students boarding, disembarking, and riding safely to school. You will help with seat belts and booster seats, support the Driver, and ensure a calm, safe environment during the ride.

This role offers 20–25 hours per week at $18.54 per hour, with split shifts, paid training, and benefits including a 401(k), dental, vision, and life insurance. Experience with children and English communication is required; background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Pass CORI/SORI, background check, drug screen.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Able to assist students with entering/exiting vehicle and securing seats.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students entering/exiting the bus and secure them.
• Monitor student behavior and provide guidance.
• Report unsafe behavior and follow management directions.
• Communicate clearly with students, parents, teachers, and Van Pool staff.
• Assist with installing car seats and booster seats as needed.
• Follow written and verbal directions from supervisors.
• Work effectively with school-age children, including those with special needs.
